Name: Kirin Power.

City (or Neighborhood): Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco.

Practice with me: Outside!!! Find me on the magical Baker Beach with Outdoor Yoga SF.

How long I’ve been practicing yoga: I have been practicing yoga unknowingly my whole life. Intentionally, 7 years.

How long I’ve been teaching yoga: I have been sharing and offering yoga for 1 year.

What kind of yoga I teach: Bhakti Yoga.

My mantra these days: I love you.

A posture that has been resonating with me lately is: Lately, I have been spending a lot of time in Sirsasana, headstand pose. Where effort meets ease, I feel strong and steady here, fully awake and present.

How I like to practice yoga off the mat: CONNECTION. Every day I get outside and connect with Nature, touch my bare feet to Earth, FEEL her elements. And everyday I nurture connection with the beautiful Beings around me. Eye contact, a hug, a smile, conscious conversation. sincere presence...My practice is that of raising the vibration of all life around me.

My Intention for this summer: My intention this summer is to stay fully awake! Imagine how many more moments can spark gratitude if I'm awake for them all! My favorite way to celebrate the summer?! Beach Yogaaa!

My sign: Libra!

The last book I read was: I just finished City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert! I couldn't set it down!

Favorite local juice/tea spot: Urban Remedy is always my go-to juice stop. But my favorite local tea shop is SF's hidden gem, Beloved Cafe.

Where I go for a nourishing meal: My favorite vegan eats are Judicious and Nourish Cafe.

What’s on your yoga playlist right now: Oooh yummy goodness!:) I put a lot of love into my yoga playlists. The song currently on repeat is 'I Try' by Ben Taylor.

A few of my favorite yoga teachers are: I cling to the feet of my beloved teachers! Julianne Aiello, Peter Walters, Stephanie Snyder, Janet Stone and Nat Kendall just to name a few:)

A ritual I love: Every single day, at some point, I put on one song and begin to move. I drop in, and dance in whatever way my Vessel is calling. This has become such a healing ritual for me.

What I am letting go of this year: Limitation.

What I am embracing this year: Magic.

My website: My personal website is currently undergoing a make over and will be relaunching soon. In the meantime, head to www.outdooryogasf.com to keep up with all the beach yoga magic!
