Explore The Power Of Connection At Wisdom 2.0 In March 2020

By Rachel Nichols

Wisdom 2.0, the conference that explores how to live with greater presence, purpose and wisdom in the digital age, is returning to San Francisco for its 11th year on March 5-8, 2020. The annual conference brings together more than 3,000 people from over 30 countries, and offers a main stage full of inspiring speakers as well as several breakout sessions, community conversations, an embodiment lounge, community dinners and more.

This year, Wisdom 2.0 will focus on The Power of Connection, a timely topic. To quote myself from last year’s conference post: “With technology advancing faster than ever, it may seem like we are all more connected—because we are to our devices at least—but the truth is that many people are becoming increasingly disconnected.” I look forward to seeing how Wisdom 2.0 will be addressing this important topic.

Real Connection and Networking

Speaking of connection, one of my favorite things about the Wisdom 2.0 conference is the networking opportunities. The last few years I have attended, I have run into friends and acquaintances I didn’t expect to see, and also got to meet a ton of new like-minded people who are passionate about bringing more mindfulness and compassion to the world. I am already looking forward to the possibility of connections this year, both new and old.

A Great Speaker Line-up

Wisdom 2.0 always does an excellent job with their programming. Not only do they offer wonderful well-known and sought-after wisdom teachers and speakers, but there are always plenty of new teachers to explore and connect with. It can be almost overwhelming how many interesting teachers and topics there are to explore, sometimes happening all at the same time, which can make it difficult to choose! A good problem to have, though.

This year, some of the featured teachers include: Byron Katie, Chelsea Handler, Jack Kornfield, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Dan Siegel and more. See the full speaker line up here. And as you make your travel plans, definitely make sure to bring your packable rain jacket, as it might rain in SF this weekend.
