Location: Sonoma Valley.

Practice with me at: Yoga Community in downtown Sonoma.

How long I’ve been practicing yoga: 20 years.

How long I’ve been teaching yoga: 13 years.

What kind of yoga I teach: Raja Yoga.

My mantra these days: All is well.

An Asana, Kriya OR Meditation that has been resonating with me lately is: Makarasana (crocodile pose) is always a favorite; it is the fastest way to engage the parasympathetic nervous system. 

How I like to practice yoga off the mat: My yoga off the mat is being a mom, wife, friend and active community member. 

Favorite way to celebrate the summer: Long afternoons in our backyard garden; playing, and relaxing.

My Intention for this summer: To cultivate a greater capacity to respond to challenges in my life with intelligence and love.

My sign: Scorpio.

The last book I read was: Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy by Sadhguru. 

Favorite local juice/tea spot: Yoga Community! I love our teas from Mountain Rose Herbs.

Where I go for a nourishing meal: Yeti Restaurant in Glen Ellen.

What’s on your yoga playlist right now: Pranam (Om Ganesha) by Adam Bauer (thanks, Christine!), He Maha Lakshmi by David Newman, Shanti (Peace Out) by MC Yogi.

A few of my favorite yoga teachers are: Michele Hébert & Mehrad Nazari, my dear teachers, have just returned to the Bay Area, and I’m so happy to have them home!

A ritual I love: Nightly bubble baths.

What I am letting go of this year: Self limiting beliefs.

What I am embracing this year: Asking for help.
