Welcome To The 8th Barcelona Yoga Conference!

Welcome To The 8th Barcelona Yoga Conference!

By Ema Barba

We are very excited to announce the approaching 8th edition of Barcelona Yoga Conference!

During the 19th - 23rd of July, we'll be meeting in beautiful Spain with world-renowned Yoga teachers and musical artists, creating the space for transformation.

Join the festival to meet your sangha of 1200 people from 5 continents.

Numbers aren't the only remarkable aspect of this festival - but it's definitely worth mentioning what you'll find there: 20 Yoga styles, 60 Internationally recognized teachers and artists, 108 scholarships, 45 stands, 100 volunteers, 15 translators and 10 bloggers.

Variety is something you will definitely find within BYC. Irrespective of whether you are at the beginning of Yoga exploration or have years of teaching experience, you are sure to find your style in the variety of sessions, starting from AcroYoga Solar Immersion to Vinyasa Yoga, Prana Flow Yoga, Progressive Ashtanga, Kundalini Yoga and many more.

One of the highlights of this conference is Jason Nemer whom, together with Almuth Kramer, they are bringing the experience of AcroYoga Solar Immersion right at the start of the conference! You can't possibly miss the AcroYoga experience if you're looking to move and be moved, as Jason would say.

"I want to live in a world where strangers from different cultures can become friends through the joy of playfulness. Seeing people shift their beliefs about themselves, each other and the world is what motivates me. I am forever amazed at how a first AcroYoga flight can dissolve barriers of language and country, or how one improvement on a handstand can invigorate new possibilities of strength, balance, and progress." says Jason Nemer

With so many extraordinary teachers, you might be having a hard time choosing between all the sessions. Rest assured that your heart will take you exactly where you need to be. Read the whole schedule here and book your favorite sessions on your calendar (yes, the platform is that tech-savvy)!

What we love about BYC is that it's very inclusive of people of all ages and backgrounds, with or without previous experience, as well as inclusivity of all levels of ability. Diversity is something we love to see being embraced during this festival. Special situations aren't going to stand in the way of Yoga experience.

And when we say Yoga is for everyone, we mean - everyone! Participants who are in the situation of disability are going to experience the amazing inclusive vibe of this festival. As someone who works with people with disability, I have witnessed the impressive power of Yoga in improving their situation. With Wheelchair Yoga, BYC offers the possibility to discover all the possibilities of experiencing Yoga from a chair and turn limitations into opportunities.

Worried about bringing your kids? You shouldn't! BYF has it all taken care of. Read here how you can have your little buddy enjoy the festival (almost) as much as you.

Let's meet, soul brothers and sisters!
